A Little About Me...
Hi everyone! Are you looking to try massage therapy? Massage can be helpful to every person in a different way. To fully understand the benefits and impacts massage can have on your life, I believe you must experience it for yourself. I personally learned just how important it is to take care of your physical, mental and overall well-being by incorporating massage into your life. This is how my journey with massage therapy started. I have always worked in customer service and have been hands on in almost every job since leaving high school. From working with children in schools and daycares, being a chiropractic therapy instructor, to working five years at the local hospital as a cardiac and neurology tech, I feel I have gained the experience and knowledge to help others in their body wellness journey. I feel every one of my previous experiences in healthcare has led me to being able to connect with hurting people and be able to compassionately communicate a plan to work toward their pain relief. Massage therapy really hadn't been a main focus in my life until about 4 years ago while working in the hospital. I discovered getting regular massages myself, changed my outlook on my body, health and mental wellness. I used massage as an outlet from a very busy and fast paced world I worked in, and in return my body relaxed from the built up tension and the chronic anxiety I suffered from faded away. Not only did my muscles and joints feel rejuvenated but I felt more equipped mentally and physically than I had in a long time. I was then able to truthfully tell my patients that I worked with, the benefits of truly taking time for their body's and healing and be patient with themselves. After a few years of living a new lifestyle with regular massages, I found a passion in it and decided to go to massage school to be able to help people in a new way that I believed in so strongly. I hope that people can realize you don't have to wait until the end of your busy lives to take care of your bodies. Take the time now to stop for thirty minutes, an hour or maybe more to dedicate time for relaxation, finding the root of your pains and to give your brain a break from the constant running 90miles an hour. You deserve that and your body will thank you!
